SENSIBLE FLORA

Technology enabled the creation of digital music instruments, and with its, it digital interfaces.
But contrary to a touch pad, the sound of the clarinet will change according to several parameters like the humidity level of the environment, the way of blowing of the musician...

This is to find back this part of organicity and unplanned, which make the richness of the clarinet that sensible flora is using plants as an interface. By using the galvanic response of the plant, sensible Flora generates different sounds depending on the type of stimulation and its resulted “stress”. The musician can play by interacting with the plant touching, heating it or even by talking to it.
